As part of these wide-ranging responsibilities, the cantonal church organization sought a sustainable solution for digital templates for its missions and offices to manage the growing administrative workload involved in creating documents in Microsoft Word. The focus was also on an intuitive user experience for church staff, standardized office processes, high scalability through seamless Microsoft 365 integration, and a consistent corporate design in Word documents.
primedocs, the template management software from the Swiss PrimeSoft Group, was selected to meet these requirements of the Catholic Church in the Canton of Zurich. The primedocs module is seamlessly integrated into the Microsoft Word environment, so that church staff can access it directly within their familiar workspace. Through primedocs, centrally maintained document templates and text modules are available, enabling letters, reports and other documents for members of the cantonal church, parishes and congregations to be created significantly faster. At the same time, it is automatically ensured that the content and layout of every document comply with the specified corporate design guidelines – for example with regard to correct logos, formatting and centrally approved wording. By using approved text modules, important formulations are standardized and applied without errors in all documents.
With the introduction of primedocs, the Catholic Church in the Canton of Zurich has established a future-proof foundation with a noticeable gain in productivity, sustainable cost reductions and increasing satisfaction among church staff.
