Initial situation

Psychiatric services that are tailored to the individual needs of patients: This is the high standard that Psychiatrische Dienste Aargau AG (PDAG) sets for itself. Around 1,200 people work for PDAG, which is now a public limited company owned by the Swiss canton of Aargau. In addition to general psychiatry and psychotherapy, PDAG provides additional services such as geriatric, child and adolescent psychiatry.

As the template program previously used was no longer maintained and the internal know-how for maintenance and development was lacking, a new software was considered. The future system should not only be easy to use: The new templates should also be easy to customize and create. A further requirement of PDAG was fast and professional support from the manufacturer.
