Digital sovereignty explained simply
Digital sovereignty means consciously managing technologies, data, and dependencies in order to remain capable of acting independently in the long term. The Federal Council defines it as the necessary ability to exercise control and take action in the digital space.
The topic is becoming increasingly important: geopolitical uncertainty, cyber threats, new regulatory requirements and growing cloud usage are confronting organizations with concrete questions about control over their data.
