The Municipality of Russikon operates in the district of Pfäffikon in the canton of Zurich and sits in the scenic Zurich Oberland between Kemptthal and the Tösstal valley. The municipal administration provides public services to residents, businesses, and institutions—from traditional administrative tasks to a digital online service desk, as well as a wide range of information and advisory services. With a strong focus on digitization and service quality, Russikon continuously improves its administrative services and builds a foundation for forward-looking and transparent local governance. The Municipality of Russikon, like many public-sector organizations, seeks to streamline document creation and email communication, simplify existing template structures for letters, rulings, and official notices, and meet strict compliance requirements at the same time.
Automated processes and higher quality: Sustainable document creation and standardized email correspondence with primedocs
As part of an evaluation process and in collaboration with the consulting firm and IT service provider OBT, the Municipality of Russikon evaluated the template management solution primedocs from the PrimeSoft Group. The evaluation focused on user experience, expected efficiency gains, and key IT considerations, including system stability through regular updates as well as compatibility and integration with the municipality’s existing IT systems. The results confirmed that primedocs fully meets the specific requirements of public administration.
With primedocs, the Municipality of Russikon provides its employees with a modern, future-ready solution for standardized document creation in Microsoft Word or directly from specialized applications such as CMI. Employees create letters, rulings, official notices, and other administrative documents intuitively and with just a few clicks. At the same time, the municipality reduces the complexity of its template landscape and benefits from a flexible solution that enables employees to handle document-driven tasks reliably—even remotely and offline.
In addition, the Zurich-based municipality uses the primedocs Outlook module to centrally manage compliant email signatures and control email banners for communication campaigns. This approach ensures consistent branding across all email correspondence and significantly reduces administrative effort for maintaining signatures.
The solution also helps the Municipality of Russikon to meet strict data protection requirements on a sustainable basis. primedocs manages templates only and does not store the final documents created from them.
