About Concara
Domicil and Spitex Bern have joined forces under the umbrella of the nonprofit Concara. With over 2,000 employees, Concara offers integrated care from a single source - at home, on an outpatient basis and in inpatient settings. The company operates 22 senior care centers in the canton of Bern, a dementia care center and the public Spitex services in the city of Bern and Kehrsatz. Its comprehensive range of services includes additional offerings such as pediatric Spitex, mobile palliative care, day care and a meal delivery service.
Initial situation
As part of the evaluation of a new template and document creation solution, Concara examined the requirements for a modern, sustainable platform. The focus was on finding a future-proof solution that offers both high availability and the ability to work offline. Equally important was a collaborative partnership with a software provider that not only delivers technologically but is also personally accessible and committed to supporting the care organization over the long term.
On a technical and functional level, the primary focus was on a flexible inheritance concept, powerful interfaces, comprehensive integration into the existing system landscape and on-premises operation. For Concara, as the umbrella organization for Spitex Bern and Domicil Bern, these requirements are of particular importance, as processes and documents must be supported consistently and efficiently across the entire organization.
Against this backdrop, primedocs was selected. The solution met the defined business and technical requirements and creates a strong foundation for the future standardization of document and communication processes..
Centralized, efficient template management and consistent communication in Microsoft 365 with primedocs
With primedocs, the template management software from PrimeSoft, Concara gains a centralized on-premises platform for the standardized management of templates as well as the creation of documents, presentations and email communications within the familiar Microsoft 365 environment.
In the primedocs Word module, templates and text blocks are centrally managed and made available. This enables employees to create documents based on uniform standards and approved content.
With primedocs PowerPoint, Concara will be able to create and update presentations in accordance with defined corporate design and corporate identity guidelines. An integrated image library, along with automatic adjustment of colors, fonts and formatting, ensures a consistent brand image. Text, charts and tables can also be formatted in compliance with CI/CD guidelines, enabling presentations to be designed professionally and uniformly. With the «Slide Check» feature, non-compliant presentation elements can be adjusted to the defined design and layout specifications with a single click, reducing the need for manual formatting while ensuring the quality of presentations is consistently maintained.
The primedocs Outlook module supports Concara in the centralized management of email signatures, banners and communication templates. This enables the standardization of email communication across the organization and ensures that employees can access up-to-date and approved content in the defined corporate design at all times. Changes to signatures or text modules are managed centrally and made available without additional administrative effort. This significantly increases consistency in internal and external communication.
The solution is complemented by comprehensive integration and interface options, including connectivity to the internal ERP system, which ensures seamless integration of primedocs into the existing system landscape. The integrated inheritance concept supports the consistent implementation of requirements across various organizational units. At the same time, the system architecture enables a reduction in the existing template inventory and lays the groundwork for empowering business units to independently create and maintain templates as needed.
